Tek-Tools Expands Channel

Dallas-based Tek-Tools Software, a provider of IT and storage management software, said Monday that the firm has signed GlassHouse Technologies as a partner of the firm, and says that it has been seeing increased demand from service providers for its managed services offerings. Tek-Tools said that GlassHouse is using the firm's Profiler for VMware product as part of the GlassHouse Managed Services for Virtual Environments offering. The software is being used to monitor virtual operating system environments based on VMware's software tools. Financial impact of the deal was not announced.
