Tech Fort Worth Adds Clients

Nonprofit business incubator TECH Fort Worth reported this week that it has added a number of new clients into the incubator. According to the group, ZS Pharma, MedHab, and AMS have all become new clients of the incubator, and ZS Pharma, AMS, and Encore Vision have all leased space in the incubator's lab at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. The group, which helps mentor companies and help them with funding and other efforts, said that ZS Pharma is focused on development and commercialization of proprietary oral sorbent technology; AMS is developing proprietary, adult stem cell and tissue engineering-based therapies for traumatic orthopedic injuries; MedHab is developing electronic sensors for patients with injuries to their limbs; and Encore Vision is developing treatments for presbyopia. The group also said that ZS Pharma has hired Jo Maugh as VP of Quality and Regulatory Compliance to head up pre-clinical and clinical studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center location.
