Tech Fort Worth: Johson & Johnson Looks To Fund Local Startups

TECH Fort Worth, the technology incubator in Fort Worth, said this week that it is working with The Johnson & Johnson Corporate Office of Science and Technology (COSAT), to help the group review Texas healthcare companies for funding. TECH Fort Worth said it has begun accepting non-confidential abstract/executive summaries for its effort, with a deadline of Saturday, January 28th for submissions. The group said J&J provides seed funding of around $250K for early stage opportunities. TECH Fort Worth explained that J&J funded 75 companies last year, but that none were in Texas.
