Tango Networks Gets 50th Patent

Frisco, Texas-based communications hardware developer Tango Networks says it has just hit the milestone of its fiftieth U.S. patent, adding to the company's intellectual property portfolio. The company said the latest patent, No. 9,622,078, covers the basis of its Software-Defined Kinetic Communications Platform. The latest patent, entitled "Mobile application gateway for connecting devices on a cellular network with individual enterprise and data networks" was issued on April 11th, and names Andrew Silver, Lathan Lewis, Patricia Landgren, and Glen Schmid as inventors; the company had applied for the patent way back in October of 2014. Silver is the company's co-founder and CTO.
