TalentGuard Raises $400K

Austin-based TalentGuard, a provider of career seminars, said this week that it has raised $400,000 in a Series A financing round. The firm said the round came from angel investors, including Jim Schneider, former CFO of Dell and Chairman of Horizon Bank; Doug Drane of Drane Associates; Eric Rothfus of Guggenheim; and others. TalentGuard said it will use the investment for sales, marketing, and key hires.
