SXSW Interactive Kicks Off 2011 Events

SXSW Interactive, the technology/media side of SXSW, is kicking off for the season, with conference organizers saying today that they have opened up registration for the 2011 event, and that they will open up its voting for popular panels next Monday. The organizers of the SXSW Interactive event said it would be including more daytime networking meet-ups this year, a special music-related technology competition in the SXSW Accelerator, and a broadening of its SXSW Interactive Awards "outside the browser."The next SXSW is scheduled to run from March 11 to March 15, 2011.
