SunGard EXP Tabs BancTec for Payment Processing

SunGard EXP has selected BancTec to deliver payment-processing services to EXP Mailing clients, BancTec reported Tuesday. EXP Mailing is an all-in-one application for designing, printing, processing, distributing and mailing consumer documents for companies in the utilities and financial services fields. In teaming with BancTec, SunGard EXP, a business unit of SunGard Data Systems, will offer its clients inbound payment processing in addition to its pre-existing outbound mailing services. SunGard, one of the world’s largest software and IT services companies, boasts annual revenues of some $4 billion. Headquartered in Dallas and London, BancTec provides business-process automation for clients in the financial services, health care, manufacturing, government and utilities industries. The privately owned company was founded in 1972.
