SunGard Buys Energy Softworx

Houston-based SunGard has acquired Energy Softworx, a company that develops software for the energy trading and risk management market, the firm said today. Financial terms were not disclosed, and SunGard said that the acquisition is not expected to have material impact on its financial results. Softworx will become part of SunGard's Energy Solutions business unit.
