Skratch Expands Reach Across Texas

Dallas-based Skratch, which offers up a marketplace to help teenagers find work, says it is expanding its efforts throughout Texas, and is looking for people interested in hiring teenagers for jobs in Dallas Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. The startup--which started offering up its services just in Dallas in 2016--says its platform connects teens with short-term work in their communities. The app offers rating systems, safety screenings, handling of payments, parental tools, and more, and runs on iOS and Android. According to Skratch, the goal of its app is to help combat the 40-year decline in teens working at jobs.
