Mavenir Wins Cellcom

Richardson, Texas-based Mavenir has scored a win with communications provider Cellcom, the company said this morning. Mavenir said that Cellcom, which provides communications services throughout Michigan and Wisconsin, will deply its "virtualized IMS mobile core" and voice-over-WiFi software. Financial impact of the deal were not announced. Mavenir's software supports such protocols as VoLTE, VoWiFi, and RCS.
