Aggredyne Gets FDA Nod On Testing Device

Houston-based Aggredyne, a developer of an in-vitro device used to measure the effects of antiplatelet medications, says it has received FDA clearance for its AggreGuide A‑100 ADP Assay testing cartridge. The company said the move will allow it to start marketing its device throughout the U.S., and further expand the menu of additional tests used in its A-100 instrument. Aggredyne said its diagnostic device is used to measure the effect of various antiplatelet medications that target the platelet P2Y12 receptor.
