WP Engine Hits $132M In Annual Recurring Revenues

Austin-based WP Engine, which provides managed WordPress hosting and services, says it now is seeing annual recurring revenues of $132M, and more than 90,000 customers. The privately held company did not say why it was discussing its finances, however, the company received a large investment from Silver Lake a year ago. WP Engine also said its global employee count is up 37 percent since January of 2018. Silver Lake made its investment in January of 2018. WP Engine is led by CEO Heather Brunner, who also serves as Chairwoman of the company.
