FirstClose Snags Mozido CTO

Austin-based FirstClose, which develops technology for the mortgage lending industry, has named Pat Downing as its new Chief Technical Officer, the firm said on Wednesday. Downing was most recently CTO of Austin's Mozido. FirstClose said Downing has 20 years of experience in the technology operations, infrastructure, development and customer support areas. FirstClose recently received a round of funding from Cypress Growth Capital.
