FTC Solar Launches New Product

Austin-based FTC Solar, which develops solar tracking products for the commercial solar project industry, said it has launched a new product on Wednesday. According to the company, it has launched its Voyager single-axis tracker, which includes such features as three days of back-up power and better battery life, wireless mesh network communications, and more. Pricing on the new product was not annoucned, however, the company said its tracker provides the "lowest installled cost per watt in the industry". Solar trackers are used in solar farms to point solar panels directly towards the sun, optimizing the power output of those solar farms.
