Pivot3 In Partnership With Lenovo

Austin-based converged data center infrastructure provider Pivot3 has inked a strategic partnership with computer maker Lenovo, the two said this morning. According to the two, they are in a global strategic partnership to develop, market and sell a new set of edge computing solutions optimized for mission-critical smart city security. The link ties Pivot3's software with Lenovo's ThinkSystem servers. Financial details of the business arrangement were not announced by the companies. The combined solution is aimed at the "edge computing" market.
