Techstars Impact Announces New Class

Techstars Impact, the Austin-based program from Techstars focused on startups whose focus is on social or environmental problems, has announced the ten companies that will be part of its 2018 program. The accelerator said that those companies are Better Living Technologies/a> (chronic disease management); Bridgecare Finance (lending for working mothers); MDaaS Global (diagnostic and primary care for Africa); Graviky Labs (technology that turns air pollution into ink); TommyRun (on-demand materials delivery for construction); Kutumbika (factory workforce communications); Base Operations (crime heat mapping in emerging markets); Haven Connect (property management software); Pipeline Equity (HR technology to eliminate gender bias); and Troposphere (low cost environmental monitoring technology). Techstars Impact is backed by Morgan Stanley Investment Management's AIP Private Markets Team & Impact America Fund, and is run in Austin by Zoe Schlag.
