Match Faces Challenge From Facebook

Dallas-based Match Group, which owns such online dating services as Tinder, Match, Plenty of Fish, and OK Cupid, faces a big new competitor edging into its space--Facebook. Facebook said on Tuesday that it will be adding dating features to Facebook, something which is bound to have an impact on Match's various businesses. One analyst, the Jeffries Group, just downgraded Match Group's shares on the Facebook news this morning.
