JASK Names Former Cylance Exec As CMO, Sets Up Shop In Austin

JASK, a developer of artificial intelligence- and machine learning-based cybersecurity software, said this week that it is setting up a second headquarters in Austin, after naming former Cylance Chief Marketing Officer Greg "Fitz" Fitzgerald as its new Chief Marketing Officer. JASK--which has its other headquarters in San Francisco--said it will run its go-to-market strategy from the new Austin office. Fitzgerald was recently at Javelin Networks, and also served at Fortinet, Sourcefire, and TippingPoint. He also is a board member at Cylance, HYPR, Javelin Networks and Trustgrid, and chair at Cyforce Security. JASK is backed by Dell Technologies Capital, TenEleven Ventures, Battery Ventures, and Vertical Venture Partners.
