RetailMeNot, Valassis Rebrand RedPlum To RetailMeNot Everyday

Austin-based RetailMeNot, the online coupon site which was recently acquired by Harland Clarke Holdings, and coupon printing and distribution company Valassis--also owned by Harland Clarke--are in an effort to rebrand the Valassis RedPlum business as RetailMeNot Everyday. The companies said the rebranding will help complement RetailMeNot's presence in the retail market. RedPlum is best known for the coupons it sends out via Sunday newspaper inserts and also via mail. The companies said RedPlum's business--now RetailMeNot Everyday--has an audience of up to 78 million households; RetailMeNot has around 53 million monthly website visits, and 23 million monthly mobile uniques. Harland Clarke paid approximately $630M for RetailMeNot in April of last year.
