Catapult Expands In Asia

Austin-based cloud services provider Catapult Systems is in an expansion in Asia, saying that it has created a new division called Catapult Worldwide. Catapult said the new business was created in conjunction with its parent company, Chinasoft International Ltd., and will focus on providing expertise to architect, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions. The new unit has operations in Xi'an, Beijing, and Shanghai, China; Malaysia; India; Europe, and the United States. As a result of the expansion, Catapult says that Frank Waung has been named Chief Financial Officer of its new entity. Waung was most recently the CFO of Chinasoft International.
