GPSi Holdings Acquired By Ingersoll-Rand

GPSi Holdings, a telematics provider which has offices in Austin, has been acquired by Ingersoll-Rand plc, Ingersoll Rand said this morning. Financial details of the deal were not announced. GPSi Holdings had been owned by private equity investor Falconhead Capital LLC. GPSi Holdings was based in Sarasota, Florida. The company's telematics products are used in the education, golf, and resort market, and in particular, is known for tracking of Club Car golf vehicles.
