Lepide Sets Austin As New HQ, Plans To Hire 50

Lepide, a developer of IT security and compliance software, said on Wednesday that it has selected Austin to act as its new global headquarters, hiring 50 people in the city over the next 18 months. Lepide--which currently has offices in London and New Delhi--currently employs 236 staff. The company said it moved to Austin due to the IT security market's size and current growth trajectory in the U.S. Lepide is led by CEO Aidan Simister. The company specifically cited the "ton of top IT talent" as well as the continuous flow of IT graduates from such schools at UT Austin.
