Teladoc Boosts Physician Referral Tools

Lewisville, Texas-based telemedicine services provider Teladoc said today that it has partnered with healthcare consulting provider Compass Professional Health Services, to help power in-network referrals to both primary care physicians and specialists. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. According to the two, the deal will embed a "health navigation engine" from Compass into Teledoc's platform--that engine helps refer patients to those primary care physicians and specialists directly from the platform.
