Flux Farm, a startup developing agricultural sensors and technology, said it is moving its headquarters to Dallas, to take aim at the urban and smart farming market. The company said it has named Blake Burris as CEO of the company, and as a result, moved its headquarters from New York to Dallas. Flux Farm said it is using sensors and controls--originally developed in Israel for its military--for hydroponics and other urban farming. Burris was previously the founder of Dynamo Labs (backed by fbund), and also served at Joyent and Intermec, and was most recently Chief Hacktivist & VP Developer Relations at Vinli.
