Entrust Acquisition Closes

Secure identification and care personalization provider Datacard Group said this morning that it has officially closed its acquisition of Dallas-based Entrust. Datacard said the deal officially closed on December 31, 2013. Datacard had announced its acquisition of Entrust on December 17th; financial details of the buy were not announced. Datacard said the combined firm now has over 2,000 employees. Datacard is based in Minneapolis.
