Dell Delays Vote On Acquisition Offer

Round Rock-based Dell said this morning that it has delayed the vote on its acquisition offer from Silver Lake Ventures and founder Michael Dell, in order to solicit more proxies from Dell shareholders. According to Dell, it will reconvene on July 24 for the vote on the acquisition. The offer from Silver Lake Ventures and Michael Dell is worth around $24.4 billion.
