WhaleShark Hires Operations Executives

Austin-based Whaleshark Media, the online coupon marketplace operator, said today that it has hired two executives to head up operations at the company. Whaleshark said it has appointed Kate Sperber as Vice President of Operations and Kimberly Read as Senior Director of Operations, to help its Operations group, which is responsible for sourcing and merchandising online coupons and deals from participating merchant partners. Sperber was previously at Yahoo, and also had served at Bankrate. Read was previously at LinkShare.
