Caringo Inks OEM Deal with Messaging Architects

Austin, Texas-based content storage software publisher Caringo Inc. revealed Tuesday that it is teaming with Messaging Architects, a developer of e-mail compliance and risk management applications, to create an end-to-end e-mail archiving utility. Caringo said that it will will provide its scalable CAStor archiving software, which will then be embedded into the latest version of Messaging Architects' M+Guardian Enterprise Email Firewall. Caringo explained that M+Guardian will strip incoming e-mail attachments and eliminate duplicates before storing the remaining files in a central CAStor repository.
