EZneeds Takes On Warehouse Stores, Amazon.com

Houston-based EZneeds said on Tuesday that it has launched a new, online site which will deliver household and office essentials, including laundry, grocery, kitchen, bathroom, and dozens of other categories. The startup, founded by CEO Nidal Ganim, said it provides typical savings of 20 to 30 percent on products compared with elsewhere. The site does not require membership and says it offers up free 1-2 day shipping on orders over $50. The company said it is looking to serve people who do not want to deal with taking kids to the store, people in small towns who don't have a local warehouse club, and those who don't want to have to pay a premium or membership to get items delivered to them.
