Certain Affinity Raises $5.0M For Videogame Studio

Austin-based Certain Affinity, the videogame studio whose founders developed the Halo and Call of Duty titles, has raised $5.0M in an equity funding, according to a regulatory filing by the company this week. Financial details of the investment have not been announced by the company. Certain Affinity was founded by Max Hoberman, who serves as the company's President and Creative Director; Hoberman was previously at Bungie, and was responsible for Bungie's Halo franchise.
