Stormpulse Gets $1.3M

Austin-based Stormpulse, a developer of software interactive weather mapping and tracking major hurricanes and other storms, has raised $1.3M in a funding round. The funding came from 500 Startups, E-merge, as well as Joshua Baer, Sean Harper, and Zack Linford. Stormpulse was co-founded by Matthew Wensing and Brad Wiemerslage, and offers up its storm tracking services and interactive weather maps via subscription. More information »
