Sparefoot Launches Contest For Austin Bands

Austin-based online self storage marketplace Sparefoot has an interesting new promotion it is running: it's looking for local, Austin musicians and bands who practice at self-storage units, to perform as the band at a company party in March. Sparefoot says its Battle of the Storage Bands is open to any Austin musician who submits a YouTube video of an original song through Facebook; the winner gets a 30-minute set, VIP passes to its party, event transportation, and one night's lodging.
