Spanning Cloud Releases Salesforce.com Support

Austin-based Spanning Cloud Apps, the startup led by Jeff Erramouspe developing data backup software for cloud applications, said it has released its product for backing up Salesforce.com. Spanning Cloud said its new product, Spanning Backup for Salesforce, is now generally available. The app runs in conjunction with Salesforce.com to back up all of the data stored in Salesforce.com. Spanning Cloud had released a limited beta of the product back in November, the first expansion of the software beyond Google Apps. Spanning Cloud is venture backed by the Foundry Group, as well as other strategic investors.
