SolarWinds Upgrades Network Management Software

Austin-based SolarWinds, a provider of enterprise network management software, said Monday that it has upgraded its Orion NetFlow Traffic Analyzer module, part of the firm's Network Performance Monitor product. The firm said that the upgraded module enables network engineers to capture flow data from network traffic. Among the major upgrades to the software are new graphs and charts and personalized views of traffic. SolarWinds said the upgraded software is available for download from its website. SolarWinds is venture backed by Austin Ventures, Bain Capital, and Insight Venture Partners.
