SolarWinds Launches European Operations

Austin, Texas-based Solarwinds, a provider of network management and discovery software, said today that it has launched operations in the EMEA. The firm said that it has opened up a new European headquarters in Cork, Ireland, where it will provides sales, customer support, financial services, marketing, and localization of its products to its customer base in Europe. Jim Docherty has been appointed VP International Sales as part of the expansion into Europe; Docherty joins from NetIQ.
