SolarWinds Buys Trusted Metrics

Austin-based IT management software developer SolarWinds announced on Tuesday that it has cquried Trusted Metrics, a developer of real-time threat monitoring and management software. Financial details of the buy were not announced. According to SolarWinds, the deal will help it extend its IT portfolio to include security monitoring. Trusted Metrics was based in Raleigh, NC.
