SolArc Names Services VP

Houston-based SolArc, a developer of commodity and trading software, said Wednesday that it has named Aramis Alvarez as Vice President of Global Services. Aramis has previously served at Motive, Jacada, Allegro Development, Dun & Bradstreet, PeopleSoft, and Siebel Systems. SolArc's software is used by companies in the commodity markets. SolArc said Alvarez will manage the firm's professonial services operations covering its RightAngle and Natural Gas products.
