Software Maker Revionics Moves HQ To Austin

Revionics, a developer of software used by retailers to optimize their pricing, promotions, and markdowns, said today that it is relocating its headquarters to Austin, away from Roseville, California. According to Revionics, the move will allow the company to more rapidly expand its marketing, sales, training, and development organizations. Revionics--which already had an office in Austin--said it is quadrupling its office space in the city, and is "aggressively" recruiting talent in the market. The company cited Austin's culture, relatively low cost of living, and the presence of other technology companies in the community. The presence of other companies--such as 360Commerce (Acquired y Oracle), and HomeAway--also attracted the company to move its headquarters here.
