Socialware Names Product Development VP

Austin-based Socialware, which develops social media marketing and compliance software, said Wednesday that it has named Matt Roberts as the company's new Vice President of Product Development. Roberts joins the company from CA Technologies, where he was focused on Agile software development. He is also President of Agile Austin, the nonprofit focused on Agile software development in Central Texas. According to Socialware, Roberts will oversee all product research, development and support functions for the company, reporting to Ken Naumann, the company's CEO. Socialware is venture backed by such investors as CrunchFund, Morgan Stanley, FLOODGATE, G-51 Capital, and Silverton Partners.
