Sipera Eyes New PCI Security Rules

Richardson-based Sipera Systems, the developer of Voice-over-IP and other communications security tools, said today that its products can help customers meet new PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) requirements, covering telephone-based transactions. Sipera develops security tools used in VoIP and other unified communications (UC) systems. The company said its products can help provide comprehensive application-layer security for VoIP. PCI is the set of requirements that ecommerce and other businesses who accept credit cards must obey.
