Silicon Labs Names VPs

Austin-based semiconductor maker Silicon Labs announced this morning that it has named two new executives. According to the firm, it has named Daniel Cooley as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, and named Matt Johnson as Senior Vice President and General Manager of IoT products. Cooley has been heading up Silicon Labs' IoT business for the past four years, and has been at the company since 2005. Johnson previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of automotive processing products and software development at NXP Semiconductors/Freescale, and also had been at Fairchild Semiconductor.
