Silicon Labs Gets Chinese Design Win

Austin-based Silicon Laboratories said today that it has scored a design win with a Chinese manufacturer of portable radios, Tecsun. Silicon Laboratories said Tecsun has chosen its Si483x AM/FM receiver ICs for a multi-band portable radio. Financial details of the win, or expected shipment volumes, was not announced. Silicon Labs is a provider of analog-intensive, mixed signal ICs for the electronics industry.
