Silicon Labs Buys Zentri

Austin-based Silicon Labs announced today that it has acquired Zentri, a developer of low power, Wi-Fi hardware used in the Internet-of-Things (IoT) market. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Zentri's hardware modules and related software application programming interfaces (APIs) help designers network IoT nodes without requiring wireless design expertise. Zentri was based in Los Gatos, California.
