Silicon Labs Bolsters Board

Austin-based mixed signal and analog semiconductor developer Silicon Labs said today that it today that it has added a member to its board of directors. The company said it added Alf-Egil Bogen, currently the CEO and member of the board of Novelda AS, as a member of its board; Bogen also has served at Energy Micro AS, Atmel Corporation--where he was for 17 years--and Nordic VLSI. Silicon Labs acquired Energy Micro AS in July of this year, and Bogen had been Chief Marketing Officer at that company at the time.
