Shared Technologies Acquires IT Consulting Firm

Coppell, Texas-based Shared Technologies Inc., a supplier of converged and Internet Protocol telephony technology, announced Wednesday that it has acquired Communication Management Services, a dealer of information technology services for small- to mid-size service providers and enterprises. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Located in Richardson, Texas, Communication Management Services offers all-day, year-round network management and monitoring services including surveillance, incident reporting, problem resolution and performance and configuration management.
