Securus Acquires Jobview

Dallas-based Securus Technologies, which develops technology products aimed at the corrections, public safety, and other law enforcement markets, said on Friday afternoon that it has acquired Burnsville, Minnesota-based Jobview. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Jobview develops an interactive, touch-screen employment kiosk which is used by inmates to find a job after they are released from prison. Those kiosks are installed at correctional facilities, probation offices, halfway houses and other reentry locations for former inmates.
