Sage Nonprofit Solutions: Just Call Us Abila

Sage Nonprofit Solutions, the nonprofit accounting, donor, and fundraising management software provider which was acquired by Accel-KKR in February, has renamed itself Abila, the company said this morning. The company said the new name will help fuel its future and growth. Abila had formerly been part of Sage Group PLC. Accel-KKR announced its acquisition of Sage Nonprofit Solutions in February.

The company said that the branding change is part of a "significant new investment" in its technology, professional team, and marketing initiatives. Size of the acquisition and investments by Accel-KKR in the company haven't been announced. As part of that expansion and investment, Abila said it is on track to increase its Austin workforce by 20 percent this year, to a total of 150 employes. The firm is now headed by Krista Endsley.
