S3 Ventures Invests More In BlueCava

Austin-based investor S3 Ventures has re-upped its funding in BlueCava, a Los Angeles, California developer of digital ad targeting technology, as part of a $13M funding round--and also installed former StoredIQ CEO Phil Myers as Executive Chairman of that company. BlueCava said it raised the $13M funding round from S3 Ventures, Performance Edge Partners and Zeitgeist Capital, to help with sales and marketing growth with its cross-platform marketing product. S3 Ventures was an investor in BlueCava when it was developing internet device reputation and security software; the company apparently changed its focus to the digital ad industry since its last funding round.
