Round2 Technologies Acquired By Avnet

Austin-based ROUND2 Technologies, a provider of electronic recycling services, has been acquired by electronic components distributor Avnet. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Round2 provides electronic testing and repair, product disassembly, and commodity recycling from facilities in Texas, Ohio, and Georgia. Avnet said Round2 had revenues of approximately $40M in calendar year 2010.
