RipCode Scores $7M

Dallas and Austin Texas-based RipCode said today that it has raised $7M in a first round of venture capital funding. The round was led by Hunt Ventures, Vesbridge Partners, and El Dorado Ventures, and also included participation by ATA Ventures. RipCode is developing high performance Internet video processing technology. The firm's technology is focused on migrating video to mobile platforms such as cell phones. More information »
